Safety Recall Notice
Certain Spine Align and Posture Perfect Ergonomic Office Chairs
Potential Chair Base Leg Failure

Dear Valued Customer:

This notice is in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). MooreCo, Inc., is voluntarily recalling certain Spine Align and Posture Perfect Office Chairs. MooreCo, Inc., has decided that a potential defect exists in the chair-bases of these chairs. The legs on the chair base may break and cause the chair to tip over and potentially cause the occupant to fall. This potential defect exists in the above-referenced chairs that have an unmarked base and no order number label on the bottom of the seat.

You should immediately stop use of the above referenced chair if it meets the above description. Please call MooreCo, Inc., toll free at: (888) 446-5161 for further instructions on how to return your chair for a free professional repair, or replacement of your chair.

What is the risk?

One or more legs of a defective chair-base could break and result in the chair tipping over and causing the occupant to fall.

What should you do?

You should immediately stop using your Spine Align Ergonomic Office Chair or Posture Perfect Ergonomic Office Chair. Potentially defective chairs have no markings on the bottom of the seat or the top of the chair-base. If the chair-base does not have the “TORTOISE” brand molded into the top of one leg OR, if it does not have an order number or other labels on the bottom of the seat, immediately notify MooreCo, Inc., by calling our toll-free hotline at (888) 446-5161. Chairs with the brand “TORTOISE” molded into the top of one leg of the chair base, or chairs with an order number or other label on the bottom side of the seat, are NOT INCLUDED in this recall. What will MooreCo, Inc., do?

When you respond to the recall notice and provide your contact and product information, MooreCo, Inc. will, at no cost to you, provide a special carton, in which you can return your affected chair. Replacement of the potentially defective base can be difficult. MooreCo, Inc., has the equipment and experience to make the repair correctly without damaging the rest of your chair. MooreCo, Inc., will receive, evaluate, repair or replace your chair, within 3 business days of receipt at our factory, and ship it back to you. Please allow three weeks for transportation and repair of your chair.

Please see the photographs and explanation below. Please review all information below since it includes instructions to determine the potentially defective chair and methods to determine that yours is not a recalled chair.
